며칠양곤 출장을 다녀왔다. 양곤에서도 감자기 추워져 반팔만 입고다니다가 고생을 하였는데 돌아오니 이곳은기온이 더 떨어져 있다. 산간지방에서는 얼어죽는 사람도 생기고 있다고 한다.태국에서는 조만간 한파주의보를 발령할 예정이라고 한다. 열대지방에서 한파주의보는 몇년을 살면서 처음인것 같다. 가장 힘드는것이 줍고 배고픈 것이라고 한다.배는 고파도 춥지만 않으면 견딜 수 있는데 이제는 이만한 호사도 어려울것 같다. 두꺼운 잠바조각 하나도 없는 산간의 산족들은 나무잎으로 겨우 안팤을 가린 원두막에서 살고 있는데 아이들은 이 추위를 어떻게 날까 걱정이다. 다음주에는 겨울옷과 이불을 나누어 주어야 겠다.워낙 집이 허술하여 큰 도움은 되지 않겠지만 당장에 맨몸으로 추위를 막는것 보다는도움이 되지 않을까 싶다.
